Initiatives

  • Serene Chamber For Teaching And Non-Teaching Staff

With the objective of promoting strong mental health and creating a safe space for teaching and non-teaching staff in schools, Paramjeet ideated a Serene Chamber offering activities like yoga, meditation, powerful brief nap time, listening to music, and muscle relaxation exercises during school hours. A maximum of 5 teachers or staff members are allowed to sit in the chamber at a time for a duration of 30 minutes. A music system is placed which can be connected through Bluetooth and the members can listen to the music of their choice to relax the mind. Paramjeet believes that listening to music helps a person connect with his heart, cultivate inner peace, release the feel-good hormone, and immediately impact one’s mental state.

  • Amigo Bench For Students

Not all students are comfortable expressing their emotions and to overcome this challenge, Paramjeet has made Amigo Benches for students on the school campus. A student feeling low or in need of help may sit on the bench to indicate that he/she is facing a problem and wants to share something. This way, the school counsellor or a staff member can extend a helping hand to the student and solve the issue. Throughout her journey, Paramjeet has impacted the lives of over 4000 students and brought a positive change in their lives.

  • Personality And Anxiety Tests For Army Jawans

Paramjeet carries out personality and anxiety tests on army jawans to make them self-aware by studying their emotional and behavioural responses. She aims to help soldiers combat stress and fight tough situations through individual counselling sessions. Paramjeet has conducted such tests for over 600 army personnel to provide mental health aid.

  • Counselling Sessions For Parents And Teenagers

Paramjeet has conducted over 2500 individual counselling sessions with students, parents, and teaching and non-teaching staff to foster a healthy relationship between them. She addresses factors affecting teenagers and helps parents understand how to deal with different situations.
